Southern Spice

A culinary extravaganza that showcases all the major cuisines of South India including Goan, Keralite, Chettinad, Hyderabadi and Bengali. You get a fabulous opportunity to work with home cooks and chefs and learn not only about the cuisines and spices but also little tricks to use in the kitchen. Apart from cooking (and eating), you experience some great walks and all the sightseeing in these fabulous cities. All the hotels chosen are 5 Star and are known for their sustainable and eco-friendly practices.


  • Day 1: First dinner at Martin’s Corner at Goa
  • Day 2: Visit a Spice plantation followed by lunch and later, dinner at traditional beachside restaurant with a cooking demonstration

  • Day 7: Enjoy a pack lunch while sight-seeing and dinner at Hotel The Bangala
  • Day 8: Lunch at Chettinad hotel Visalam and dinner at Chettinad Hotel
  • Day 9: Lunch at local restaurant in Madurai and dinner at local restaurant Southern Spice Hyderabad
  • Day 10: Lunch at local restaurant in Hyderabadand and a lovely Hyderabadi Biryani dinner
  • Day 11: Lunch at the luxurious Kolkata hotel, The Oberoi and dinner at the 6 Ballygunje restaurant
  • Day 12: A Chinese breakfast along with a walk in Kolkata and the last dinner at Aheli restaurant
